ASHA KIRAN HOSPITAL
Asha Kiran Hospital constantly aims to bring together relational care (based on the love of Christ) with appropriate technology to serve the sick and suffering of the area.
SMALL BEGINNINGS
Started in a rented mud hut in 1991, this hospital was established primarily to offer medical care to the tribal people pf Lamtaput block. Today we are a 29 bed multi-speciality hospital offering numerous services to the people of Lamtaput block as well as the surrounding areas.
RECENT DEVELOPMENTS
We praise God that the Asha Kiran Hospital has finally been able to begin much needed renovation work. The buildings that are very unique in its design, thanks to the design by architect, Laurie Baker is getting a face lift after 25 years.. We would like to thank our friends for supporting us with this renovation work. The OPD waiting area and consultation room has a refreshingly new look. Due to the restrictions with Covid the OPD has moved out doors.
The High Dependency Unit is also being upgraded with purchase of equipment, modification of facility and training of staff with funding from the District Administration.
